What you need to run Cosmos Hub nodes
Before deploying, ensure your server meets these requirements:
Mainnet spec
CPU
4+ core x86_64 (8 cores recommended for validators).
Memory
16 GB RAM minimum; 32 GB for validators. Enable 16–32 GB swap during upgrades.
Storage
Fast SSD/NVMe — 1 TB for full nodes, up to 2 TB for archive nodes.
OS
64-bit Linux (Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 LTS recommended).
Network
Stable ≥100 Mbps (1 Gbps preferred). Open TCP 26656 for P2P; keep RPC (26657) private.
Node types
Validator
Participates in consensus and earns rewards; requires ATOM stake and high uptime.
Full Node
Verifies all transactions and stores current state (pruned by default).
Light Node
Syncs only block headers with validator proofs for verification.
Archive Node
Retains full chain history (~2 TB); used for explorers or analytics.
Sentry (Participation)
Relays validator traffic privately, shielding from DDoS attacks.

Deploy Chainlink nodes across a distributed network
Access Tier-3 and Tier-4 data centers across regions with consistent uptime, low-latency networking, and zero vendor lock-in. All nodes run on dedicated VMs with root access and full resource isolation.
